I'm going to England on Thursday and I've been too busy in work to change 800 euro to sterling. Is there any bank that will change it without having to order it? If they do have to order it, how long will it take?

    Cheers.

Go to one bank change 400 then another and change the other 400.

The max they will let you change is 500.

Or just go to your bank that your account is in and tell them there was a death in the family and you have to leave for England whatever night you go in. If your changing more than 500 they have to do it through your account

Was thinking of doing that but don't fancy paying commission twice.

There's an ATM machine at Dublin Airport that gives out sterling, not sure which floor, I think it's departures. You will likely be restricted to €600/£400 per day, I suppose if you headed to the airport at 23.55 withdrew £400 and then waited until 00.05 and took out another £400 that might be an option.
