Heritage Week, was it worth it

    Now that heritage week has come and gone, did you go out and do anything about it, did you even realise it was on.

    There were some brilliant events on this year for Heritage Week, but the advertising was shamefully minimal. For the first year, the Heritage Council was running it, and they didn't make half the job of it that the OPW used to. Advertising of events, was, for the most part, left up to individual sites, which didn't help numbers. Still, enough people must have known about it, because the numbers at all my local sites were up quite a bit.
