Dogging?

Funny topic i know, but had an interesting discussion with a mate the other day in which he revealed to me that he was 'interested' in dogging and wondered if i had or would ever consider getting involved...

See, i always thought dogging was for dirty old men who spied on young spotty teenagers in the backs of cars, but the guy i was talking to is 29, very normal and happily married

Anyway, i probed a little deeper and discovered that hes not into the outside lookin in part, but does like the idea of getting it on with his partner in front of an audience...

So anyway, i guess my question is, does it really go on? whos at it? why are they at it? and where are they at it?

I've always thought of it as an activity for societies where sex is seen as naughty or evil, hence the voyeuristic angle of it. Hence the popularity in Ireland and the UK.

If he wants to get it on in front of an audience, tell him to try the Tiergarten in Berlin.

ok so no slagging me i was away for seven years and still lacking in a bit of the lingo you learn when you grow up here so....what the hell is dogging??

i'm guessing it's just exibishionist??but then why call it dogging?

LOL Honest ta god, he came out with this to me outta the blue, kinda blew me away!

Im fairly open minded so i guess he was runnin it by be to see what my angle was on it.
I told him it wouldn't be my scene, at it in the back of a car with oul lads lookin in at me and polishing their handles at the same time doesn't float my boat, this is my understanding of 'dogging' or am i mislead?

Because of the excuse the voyeur has for being there and seeing the couple having sex... he was just out walking the dog.

Grimes tried to get a Dogging forum set up recently, but the Admins were having none of it.

Off the top of my head I'd recommend newspapers on the windows to stop the old guys getting a look, "steamy windows" by Tina Turner played on loop to set the mood, and extra soft suspension for a smooth ride.

sure if ya put up newspapers in the windows to stop them gettin a look it defeats the purpose of dogging... Without the ould lads, then your just out in a dark wooded area humpin your other half in the back of a middlin car and most of us have dont that at somestage or another!

There is a website with a list of locations if anyone is interested in having a gawk! Haven't looked at it in years so it might not be around but I do remember 2 locations in Galway that are famous for it. Not sure if I can post the locations but one is fairly well known!
