    Hey,

Can anyone tell me how I can transfer photos (currently stored on CD-R) to create a DVD slide show?

I've done it recently for some holiday snaps using Microsoft Story 3 to create a windows movie file with effects and sound track.

I then used some software called DVDSanta to turn the windows movie into a DVD.

Good thinking, batman - I've been wondering how to do this for a while now (my mum has no PC and printing is expensive!!!) so I'll give that one a try. Already got DVDSanta so look forward to trying it out.

How long does it take to convert it, though?

didnt take too long - i had about 50 photos, maybe about 8 minutes long. The movie took about 20 minutes to convert to DVD. (Depends on your PC I suppose!)
