you know where you've got to go,
you've been out on the run since 1951,
this time you're coming home to Mayo!!!

everything is set! the hype is at an all-time low with a mayo team in an All-Ireland Final. and thats the best way to have it... after years of dissappointment we have learnt plenty lessons.

for now the best thing to do is hype kerry up to the balls and hope the gooch gets injured. even out-of-form he is a massive threat...and then theres the donaghy problem but hey thats for another thread!

    paradise awaits us!!!

Yah, all these songs about Maigh-Eo, this time we have the power, the skill and determination....We've learnt our lesson

I wait in anticipation. I'm not sure that hype is at an all time low but lets hope they can do the trick.

ftr: I'm not a mayo person nor a supporter generally but i hope they win this time.

31 counties want them to win it, and many people in the 32nd one would not begrudge it to them either.

If I was an outside observer I'd definitely say go Mayo.

But being from Kerry and having watched last years final in an Irish bar in Dubrovnik surrounded by petty small minded jeery fools (who weren't even from Tyrone) who celebrated like it was 1999. Screaming in my girlfriends face (who is from bloody Monaghan!).

I think after the up and downs this season, no one in the Kerry camp will be getting carried away.

    It'll be a tough game.

I was watching from a seat in the Hogan Stand, and what a game it was. A great result too. Let's hope for something similar this year. :)

Well Mayo did what was expected of them in the final :D
Infact they seem to have gotten worse since 04.

they urinated on mayo where they weren't supposed....
well, see, the thing is that I still support Mayo and I'd say they have put in more effort than any other team in years....

My friends brother is on the Mayo team and i was shocked to hear of the really busy routine... I think we're going to get better soon enough... Mayo have had to change managers only recently as well, that certainly set them back.... but they did put up a hard fight against dublin three weeks ago...

...and then we have the selfish people that will ring into the local radio station saying that the players were ****, etc. Thats no way to support a team... they dont even have mayo supporting them, never mind the other 30 counties...
