    Hi,

    I have my lidl sat system up and running (apart from the ugly dish its good value) but I'm wondering what is the most convenient way to view rte (via rooftop aerial) and the sat channels on the same tv. Note: I have only only one scart input on the TV.

    I know you can buy a scart extension which allows you to run multiple scart feeds to one scart input, switching between the feeds using a manual switching device (aka a button on the scart socket!)

    But are there other options? The lidl system has a TV/SAT button which I think is supposed to allow you switch between tv and sat signal but I'm not clear how that would operate.

    If I feed the sat signal through the scart and the RTE signal through the TV RF input would that work? ............In fact I'm off home now to try that option.
