After a 3 month lay off I have decieded to start playing live again - FISH alert:D .

It has been a while since I was in the Fitz on a Monday and I was wondering if anyone knows how many runners there normally is nowadays?

Good tournament. €100+10 for 4,000 chips (or 4,500 if you arrive before or during 1st level). 20 minute levels. One rebuy or top-up after 3 levels, €100 for 4,000 chips). 53 runners last night.

I started well, stealing a few pots in position, then lost a 9k pot just before the break when my KK was busted by T9. Rebuilt stack to around 14k soon after break, then lost massive pot against Dave Callaghan.

Blinds 300-600 he makes it 1,500 from MP. I'm on BB, I take a flop with As10c. Flop 9s6s4s. I check, he fires out 2k and I push all-in. Probably a bad move as I may as well just tell him I have the bare As. Anyway, he called after a few minutes with Ah9c, I miss my 11 outs (Dave O'C tells me straight away that he folded Ks!), he has me just covered and I get home in time to miss do my brains online @ $5-10 PLO.

Maybe raising to something like 5,500 on the flop instead of pushing in for 10,500 would have been stronger/better? Or should I have reraised pre-flop and tried to end it there? Head is wrecked now anyway, missed a dozen outs around 10 times on the omaha table since I got home too. Opinions on exit hand welcome...

I like a smaller check raise that commits you. Its surprising how scarier that looks than an all in sometimes.
