    Yeah I’ll just finish this one, then I promise were off,
    If you fancy another, distract your girl. give a cough,
    Looks like we’ve to stay for just one more round,
    The rules of manhood yeah I know girl I’m not proud.

    It’s not my fault if my comrades got them in,
    No I didn’t say anything, can’t hear even you in this din,
    I was talking to you when the last drinks descended,
    So now our time at this table of fools is extended.

    I was not looking at that girl, she was looking at me,
    I’ve only got red eyes for you, as you can plainly see
    Maybe your right and it’s time we where leaving
    My mouth’s out of focus and my feet are misleading.

    Sorry good company but it is time I must go,
    My lady friends sense of humour is missing, a no-show,
    She maintains our table of fools is no fun,
    And as I can barely stand, my work here is done.
