    Lads and ladies,
I am thinking of picking up a Walker 32 inch CRT this evening. Priced less than 500 yoyo.
Does anyone have one of these or have any information on them, what are they like etc?
I have been told they used to be branded mitsubishi but havent really been able to find any information on them.
I know the aul HDTV is coming in and all that but I dont see major uptake of it until 2008/09 because of prices and generally poor enough quality on them from "normal" TV so feel this would be a better investment at the moment.
I am not too sure of the model number but any opinions are welcomed.
    Kippy

Yes, Walker is basically the name used on stuff that previously had "Black Diamond" on them, and are manufactured by either Beko or Vestel, both Turkish. Not the best TV's by any scale IMHO, though that said, CRT's are getting rather scarce now

Doesnt €500 seem expensive for a "non" brand name CRT TV?

I thought it was a pretty good price to be honest. Picked it up for 410.
The thing is most big name manufacturers seem have stopped making CRTs altogether. There arent many of the bigger 32 inch ones around anyway.
Cheers for the feedback though, I'll take my chances with it for a couple of years.
