    Hey all,

I need to print off a list of all the usernames within Active Directory, is there any way of doing this.

    eg. John Murphy = jmurphy

I have 300ish users and I don't want to have to go through each user individually.

    csvde -f output.csv -d "cn=users,DC=DOMAINNAME,DC=Microsoft,DC=Com" -r "(objectClass=user)"

Open up resulting file in excel and print the required fields.

    P.S. Moving to Windows forum.

    Thanks,

Could you tell me what do I do with the code?

By the code I presume you mean the LDAP lookup string?

    just assign it as follows

cn .. this will be your users container (which is most likely called Users by default).

dc .. this will be your fully qualified AD domain name (i.e. in the example above domainname.microsoft.com)

chuck the above in and it should export your users.

    Hey,

This is probably a really stupid question...but how do I run the LDAP lookup string?
