I'll start with that was that song that Groove Armada did which had a guy running in the background on the big screen. It was like a drawing of a guy running but stationary.

    Thanks!

Saw Jape in the Foggy Notions stage on Saturday, had never heard them before but they blew me away!! Anyone have some info on them?

Jape is Richie Egan (bass player with the Redneck Manifesto). He (or is it they now?) have two albums out with a third on the way. I have their second album (The Monkeys in the Zoo Have More Fun Than Me) and can heartily recommend it.

I think he has a Myspace webpage but don't have the link to hand.

Cleaned up the thread, it's for asking about unknown acts or songs, not for saying who you thought best

Who played in the body and soul arena really late on friday night after everything else finished?
They were on a small stage at the bottom of a kinda crater. It was fantastic. I got the feeling that perhaps it was the singer from one band and the musicians from another. Either way, I was carried away with the music, danced for an eternity.

What was the Joy Division song New Order played apart from "Transmission", "Love Will Tear Us Apart" and "Ceremony"? I've completely drawn a blank on it.
