First time ebay seller: Postage question

I am selling a pair of runners on Ebay. I set the postage rates in my listing as per the An Post website for Parcel Post. The Listing has several days left to run.
Now I am wondering should I use registered post or something like that? I mean, if the future buyer says he did not receive the goods with Parcel Post then presumably I am screwed. I believe Registered Post costs 4 Euros extra. Any advice?

You could add the €4 to the postal insurance. Should also cover you if they don't recieve it and didn't take the insurance.

    Thanks, bennyx o.
Do you mean I should pay the €4 myself? (wouldn't break the bank, I suppose  )
It would hardly be fair to charge the buyer since I havent metioned it in my listing?
Do sellers generally use registered post?
    Cheers

I think most sellers mention insurance as "optional", so if you don't add it in make sure to comment that you are not responsible for lost post.
