Bass Player, North East Area, Starting/Joining Band

    Right. So i'm a bass player based in the meath/louth area (Near Ardee).

    I'm looking to start a band or join a band with like minded musicians. I'd like to work with a good rock singer, male or female, as well as a competent guitarist and drummer.

    Influences include Thin Lizzy, QOTSA, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Nirvana, The Vines etc...

    Looking to focus on mainly originals as well as some covers just for fun.

    I have my own equipment for playing smaller venues but buying a new rig soon. I can travel a bit but not far.

    hey i'm from meath drogehda area and i'd be interested in setting up a band if u want. i write my own stuff and play a bit of guitar and can sing. let me know

    Also keen. I am in Dundalk and play Guitar (Currently Rhythm / Lead) although would play Bass too (dont have kit for that at the moment).

    I do some vocals and some own music. Influences would be:

    Metallica, SOAD, Pink Floyd and anything else melodic. Can travel without too much hassel if someone has a place we can setup and jam and see how things go.

    hi im a guitarist in the enfield/trim area. Influences are qotsa, less than jake, the clash, nirvana, smashing punmpkins. Write my own songs and have lyrics to a couple, kinda sing but not more than backing, i play bass but not as well as guitar, and my rig reflects it. Can travel but not very far.
    There are rehearsal rooms in navan as far as i know

    hi im lookin to form a rock band. im from near drogheda and have a place we can practice. i play rhythm guitar mainly. have played in a band that broke up recently and played in mchughs, eamon dorans etc have songs written 2. influences include nirvana, pearl jam, arctic monkeys, beatles, rolling stones etc. mail me back soon and we can sort out sumthing
