what if a player got injured while playing for a football team, at the time they payd subs like everyone else and was INSURED (I HOPE). say they got injured while warming up for a match. and if they tried to continue playing in bits and bobs and never fully recovering while intermittantly seeing a physio. now they play for…

what if a player got injured while playing for a football team, at the time they payd subs like everyone else and was INSURED (I HOPE). say they got injured while warming up for a match. and if they tried to continue playing in bits and bobs and never fully recovering while intermittantly seeing a physio. now they play for a different team and have had a bit of a falling out with their former team.

Recently they found out they will need an operation to fix the problem which will cost 1200 which the surgeon has assured them that their football insurance from last year will cover. however their former team are refusing to co-operate and they are being forced to pay it themselves.

and what if they had several of their former teams players to back them up and im sure the physio that they were seeing would too. Can anybody tell me what sort of legal options they have to make them pay??
