This is a hand i played yesterday in a $5 STT but i think it raises some interesting problems regarding when to control pot size.

Early in the STT we've lost only 1 player blinds are 30/60.

    UTG +1 (1,710)
    Hero is in cutoff (1,940)
    Villan is button (2,490)

UTG+1 Limps, Folded to Hero who has AcJc raises to 240 (comments?), Villan calls, UTG+1 calls.

    Flop: (810) 8h Ad 7d

UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 480 (comments?), Villan calls.

    Turn: (1770) Kh

Action??? I guess controlling pot size isn't so important here since the pot is so big compared to stack sizes, i have only 1,220 behind while villan has 1,770, I guess my real question is how do you play this if both you and opp are both much deeper, say 10,000 stacks? Is it more important to control pot size here with our weak hand than to price opp out if he is drawing? So whats your line here as played and does it differ if both are much deeper?

    Anyway action went check-check.

    River: (1770) 4h

I check, villan bets 480. Action?

Anyone care to guess villans hand?

Interesting to see peoples thoughts on this hand, thanks.
