Wanted: Someone to service an Aga cooker

There is an old AGA cooker in my parents' house. They are having a hell of a time finding someone to service it.

It was converted from anthracite to oil many years ago. Although these AGAs are highly prized, servicing is a bit of a specialised job these days. It's mostly older guys who would know these systems and they are dying-out or retiring!

Does anyone know of someone in the Laois/Kildare/Carlow or surrounding areas who might have experience of such work? Or have any suggestions?

It's probably a standard oil burner. If you open the panel is there a thing that looks like a centrifugal fan or pump with a couple of wires plugged into it?

If you have had no luck with those, Campbell and Cooke are the offical AGA Agent in Ireland....... Expensive and not very efficient but if its an AGA they can fix it.

They are based in Citywest, Dublin
