XP Professional vs XP Media Center Edition

What's the difference between these two? When ordering Dells, XP Professional costs a good bit more than Media Center Edition. Would it ba advised to get Professional, or should the Media Center Edition suffice? All I will be using the laptop for is typing up projects, browsing the net and playing Football Manager.

XP Pro only extra benefits is the networking functionality. If you have to ask you don't need it. So get the media edition.
