PCI Express x1 Connectors

    If got a new system the other day with a PCI-Express card in the x16 slot and I have 2 free x1 slots what canI put in these slots?

    Gfx card in the 16, and any pci-e card in the other 2. but from what i've seen so far, the pci-e cards are very dear.

    Yeah there is not much out there which is very annoying.

    The most I've seen are some firewire cards, the occasional SATA controller and a TV tuner from ATI which is even rarer so slim pickings.

    If you wanted even more multi-monitor support there are some ATI PCI-E 1x cards out there.
