    for me its a quick fold...... u have to be up against a straight and your best hope would be to split the pot witha seven.

    on poker stove

    Board: 4s 3c 5h

    equity (%) win (%) tie (%) { 6d4d }

    Hand 2: 35.7894 % 30.62% 05.17% { random }
    Hand 3: 24.7387 % 22.12% 02.62% { random }

    actual hands (i didnt call)

    Board: 4s 3c 5h (4c 3d)

    equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
    Hand 1: 45.4042 % 44.96% 00.44% { 6d4d }

    cards win %win
    6d 4d 2 0.22
    5s 5c 285 31.56
    7h 6h 514 56.92

    This could also have been the situation.

    In hindsight, yes you should have called but that decision would have been incorrect given the information you had available to you. Theres no raise pf, these are the exact hands that people limp with to see a cheap flop.

    easy fold for me, no pre flop raise, dont know where you are, going in blind with a poor pair and a draw which you prob need to fill to maybe at best split the pot.

    Hindsight is great but over the longer term i think you lose in this situation.

    next time - ask them what they have, so that you can make a better decision

    I think this is bad advice i have come across a number of particulary tricky poker players who won't give you this information. On occasion a very sneaky player might even lie about what he has.

    if they lie to you about what hand they have, they must be cads and bounders and should be horse-whipped...
