Prices during Ryder Cup/ AerLingus mid-term air fares

Ther has been a lot of press recently as to how we, as a nation, were gearing up to "rip off the Yanks" during the Ryder Cup. We had the ambassador and I think Mad dog O'Donoghue bladdering on about it. Some place in Mullingar was I think is 4 times more expensive. Just looking at www.aerlingus.com for Dub Malaga Dub…

Just looking at www.aerlingus.com for Dub Malaga Dub around mid term, basic fares.

on 24th Oct Dub Malaga is 53 on 27th is 205

The returns are 53 and 275 on 9th and 3rd Nov respectively.

Is it not the same thing, supply and demand?
