Change width of Taskbar buttons?

I have a lot of apps open at any one time, I want to make the width of the taskbar buttoms smaller. I've done it before, a simple registry hack, but I can't find where to do it, does anyone know? Cheers

Do they not shrink themselves as you open more apps ?

Yes but I want them smaller anwyay, strange I know, but hey.
Anyone done this before?
