    Hi guys,
I saw the following advertised in Cork Independent. Just thought some may be interested.

Beautiful Rebels is a photography competition open to both professionals and amateurs, sponsered by the Freakscene Year of Culture committee.
First prize of 500 yo yo's. Beautiful rebels will also become a photography exhibition which will be displayed in the Bodega for month of December.
The Cork Independent will also be printing many of the photographs in the lead up to the exhibition and will be printing the best of the photographs in December.
Freakscence.com will displaying entries online after December 1st.

A primary objective of the project is to bolster the concept that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We would like to use this project to help challenge the concept of what beauty really is, we have no doubt that we will recieve many entries of sterotypical beauties and they are very welcome.

However, we hope that the final exhibition will also have beautiful grannies, handsome farmers, and gorgeous photographs of people who may not be 'obvious' beauties.

You can enter as many times as you like, there is no entry fee. Send a 10" by 8" shot, or however more you have to ....
    Cork Independent
    Northpoint House,
    Northpoint Business Park,
    new Mallow Road
    Cork.

(There is no closing date mentioned for entries but i persume its december 1st.)

I wonder would faces of thousands of wailing Cork fans make a winning photo after the match on Sunday? Maybe not but it will make me smile.:D

bloody three in a row, if i hear that one more time. The thing is normally i would never back KK over Cork because i cant stand that useless place either. The fairest result would be a draw with both teams disqualified......

I used to actually like Cork even lived there for a while, and believe me i never thought i would actually want kilkenny to beat them in anything. I think a few heartbreaking days in a waterford jersey changed my opinion of the county...it looks like its 2 to one now, thank God this board is full of waterford people
