Looking for couriers who ship to the UK and elsewhere in the EU. Looking to ship 38kg weight in a box 64 X 47 X 41 cm.

Used Interlink previosuly but despite calling them twice and being told twice that it would be 60 euro to UK, when I went to the office to send the goods, it was 90 euro. Would like reliable insured & reputable comany - any ideas?

Have you tried any of the bigger ones, Fed Ex or DHL?

    Yep
Tried DHL - 228 for teh same package:eek:
TNT won't quote unless you have an account with them

Bit of a gap in this market I think. Especially with the rise of e-bay type businesses who would use a service like this.

Interlink has another company called dpd which is far cheaper to use.Ask them for this service,we use it at work all the time.delivery time is 3-4 days to germany so uk maybe shorter. If you multiply the 3 diamensions and divide by 4000 you get the volume weight and you are charged for the heavier of the 2 between volume and actual.

    regards,

I was in the same boat a few days ago. In the end i found www.postvan.com and www.parcel2go.com It worked out at 37£ for a 40kilo package. Took 7-8 days to deliver.I used postvan, they were very good.Even rang me the day before it arrived with them to organise someone being at the house. It saved me a fortune as the next closest was dhl @ 122.35+vat sterling.

try www.distributionweb.co.uk, there is about a good few couriers listed for Ireland, just search by International deliveries....
