Secondhand Sky box

Hi guys, Would anyone be able to let me know where I could pick up a Sky digibox (secondhand Ok) for FTA use for a neighbour of mine. He wants to pick up BBC FTA so he wants to use BBCi as well so a FTA box won't do. Anyone able to point me to a supplier? Thanks

I'd say go with eBay, and try getting one with an active FTV card for Channel 4 and five (Sky Three too).

When buying, I'd say to avoid any Amstrad box, or any early Pace 2500 boxes (don't even look at 2200 Pace!)

Try getting a Panasonic box, or the later Pace 430N "Cobra" box is pretty damn good also.

Still too early to comment on the new wierd looking Thomson boxes. All I do know is, callbacks on phonelines with Eircom call-answering service are practically impossible (it's a known tech issue but I wasted a lot of time before anyone could tell me) with these boxes.
