Every now and then, for no apparent reason, the task bar (which is set to auto hide) just won't come up when I hover over the bottom of the desktop. Anyone ever encounter this?

EDIT: Only when there is a fully open window.

Could be some programs force the always on top mode which is what causes the problem. Google turned up this utility which will override any modes an application tries to set give it a go (<- assuming you have already set the taskbar to always on top and it still doesnt work).

Need to set 'Always on top' as well as 'autohide'. Should solve the problem.
