Will My graphics Card(x800gto) support 1440 x 900??

    HIya,

    I currently have a 17" Crt and im thinking of upgrading to a widescreen lcd specifically this one.

    If not i may get a 4:3 19" lcd. Id be using the monitor mostly for games and internet and sometimes dvd's and divx's
    My graphics card is a sapphire radeon x800gto fireblade.
    Other sys specs.

    Cpu: Amd Athlon 64 3700+ sk939 (so depressing how cheap this is now:o )
    Ram:1gb pc3200 Corsair Value S (2x512)
    Mobo: Epox ep-9npa ultra
    Hd: 250gb sata2
    dvd drive&dvd burner

    I tried google but i couldnt find anything definite so im hoping maybe someone here knows if it will work.

    Anyway Thanks in advance for any advice,

    Edit: Forgot to mention the games id mostly be playing are F.E.A.R and BF2. Might be getting CS:S soon aswell

    According to this it looks like it will via the VGA out, not entirely sure though.

    Ya it says 2048 x 1536 on vga but tbh id be more interested in using the dvi connection. Dosent give any resolutions for the dvi there for some reason though...only vga and tv..Anyone ever used this card on dvi at high res?

    So Anyone have any idea???? I dont want to buy a monitor only to find i have to buy a new graphics card to work it...

    It will support it, the monitor itself comes programmed with supported resolutions and all GPU's from the last few years support such resolutions.
