i don't really like the preflop reraise but you're in position and it does look strong so its not toooo bad. without any reads tho i wouldn't be getting too clever like that with A7s just yet. i like the push on the flop even less. just make a cont bet, your stack is too deep to be pushing there.

If I am BB I call this with a decentish K unless I think you are a decent regular.

Can you explain your reasoning behind this. Frankly I don't like it at all. A decent cbet can accomplish all the same stuff but it looks stronger, then use your outs if that fails to work.

Is this pot-limit or no-limit? Nothing wrong with betting the pot here and tryin to take it down. If you get called, they will generally check it to u on the turn givin u the option to take a free card and try to hit the nuts

Bet again and hit on the river. If you miss then bet again. I've seen you do this so often I am wondering how you can have forgotten :)

Doesnt the King bet out with the flush draw? and to call a raise and a re-raise preflop it would have to be a "decentish" K.

You have judged that no1 has a K and so pushed to take it down with outs if called, so it isnt the worst move, and probably one of the best flops for your A7.

Also nice bita advertising for later, they'l think your a bit of a lunatic and prob pay u off more. did the push get tru yeh?

Whats calling your push? A set of Kings... a set of 8's or 6's probably. Could AK call here? probably. KQ/J, probably not though its possible.

Personally I pot bet and hope to get a free turn (as posted above). Two cards for the pot sized bet feels nice if I can get it. If it goes freaky after my raise (like I get pushed at) I probably squeal like a little girl and run away (unless its the shortstack in which case I've probably just priced myself in by betting 80!)

The push doesnt seem bad to me, anything you are called by you have a decent number of outs against (ok, not good but you are pushing for folding equity, not value!).

I can make an argument for checking (free card), pushing (folding equity) and pot betting (as above) with this hand. I dunno which is right.... (they cant all be!)

This all well and good if you are playing poker, but this is 2/4 on Tribeca.

Edit: Calling with 88 is usually good here.

if anyone has KQ or KJ here then they will call instantly

If you bet 80 and the big stack pushes the pot will be 240 and you will have to call less than that, so any bet commits you to the pot. The only real question here is will a marginal hand be more likely to fold to a normal bet or a push.
