    Got an email from memoryc.com adverstising 2GB SD cards for €36 (although it looks like €30 'cos the prices are exclusive of VAT). Comes to €41 with shipping. Even better, an American seller on ebay is selling OEM Samsung cards for €29 shipped to Ireland. Link here

    Yeah I got the email from memoryc.com as well, good deals. I'm not sure about the eBay seller, they claim that the buyers won't have to pay any VAT, etc. I don't know how they can guarantee that, unless they refund the VAT when the item arrives to the buyer.

    How does the 7dayshop thingy work - they seem to be able to ship without VAT. Are you not supposed to pay VAT when the stuff arrives here?

    Under a certain value (£18) items sourced outside the EU are vat exempt.

    that site and many others (play, cdwow, etc) ship from outside the EU precisely for this reason.
