After recieving a second statement of bank charges in about 4 months from Bank of Ireland, this one totalling €43, I'm getting kind of fed up of flingin' my money at these bast**ds. I wanna move to a bank with no bank charges but I'm just wondering where would people reccommend.

I know Permenant TSB and Ulster bank both offer this service but what do people think of their service? I'm afraid of problems using my atm and credit cards. Is the change-over smooth etc...

Any delays/niggles/whatever during the change over will almost surely be down to BOI.

http://www.ibf.ie/resource_ctr/consumer/codes.shtml covers the code of pratice for the change over.

You will be getting new atm and CC's, just make sure u are not charged the Revenue stamp duty twice in the one year see http://www.revenue.ie/ and search for stamp duty and then look at the one SD on financial cards

just watch the T+C's for the "free" current account.

There are conditions attached to all such offerings and if u breach them they will nail your ass:)
