    I've picked someone Im newly introduced to. I saw her recently at a show in NYC and as a performer she is phenomenal, generous, high energy, bordering on performance art, but in a direct and accessible way -not in the intellectual Lori Anderson way.

    Warning! :This stuff is very dirty.

    She is most commonly classified as electro-punk and her most well known song to date is **** the Pain Away [from Teaches of Peaches], which you can hear right here and is a good example of her aggressive and minimalist sound.

    If you go here, you can see a number of her videos, the boys i think will particularly like lovertits and the song [Kick It from Father****er] she does with Iggy Pop is fab.[But maybe thats because I like Iggy?]

    This is the website for her latest release Impeach My Bush. You can hear several tracks and if you click on various parts of the website -its interactive. For example if you click on the TWO GUYS FOR EVERY GIRL picture you can upload pictures of your friends and play a sort of cyber paper dolls.

    I particularly like Tent in Your Pants and Rock the Shocker.

    And there are several other games to play on it to - like hitting GWB on the head. {yes there is a visual pun on that part of the link too}

    And her talk dirty typewriter is also kind of fun:

    So it seems like paramedia is a big part of her artform, which I like a lot conceptually. The other thing I like about her videos is that grainy 70s look that they have before everything got overlit and sanitised.

    Anyway- enjoy.

    I've had Father****er for a few months. Not sure whether I like the album or not but there's certainly some good stuff on there.

    Sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with all of you, Peaches is a talentless hack. Electro-punk is **** and so is that electroclash ****e she's been know to dabble in too...Chicks and Speed and all that ****...that can suck my mother****ing cock. In my opinion of course.
