Smart Media cards have largely been discontinued as their design limited how large in capacity they could grow compared to other forms of flash media. For example Compact Flash cards have grown from 64MB to 8GB in the last 5 years, where as there is a limit on Smart Media that limits the maximum to 512MB. No matter what advances are made you are going to be stuck with that, so most camera makers have changed over to better formats

You could probably pick a second hand card, or unsold stock, up on eBay.

But honestly I would recommend you buy a new camera. The 3030 is only 3.2 mega pixels, you could pick up a new camera with more for about €70, and it would take a new format of flash memory card

hiya, just did a quick search for memory, and camera review. Reviews not so good for your camera, found some smart memory in link below.

    http://www.shop4memory.com/products/smartmedia-card.asp

    have used, very good.

max u can use is 128Mb, but to be honest better off getting a new camera, a standard camera phone would be better.

Yeah they used to be dirt cheap, but now they are rarer and all those poor camera owners with Smart Media camera need new ones they have rising in price. Supply and demand I suppose. Another reason to get a different camera, as the Smart Media cards are only going to get rarer and more expensive.

Both cards offered on shop4memory appear to be out of stock at the moment so you may well be back to square 2.

Bishop Brennan, I've got a SanDisk SmartMedia USB card reader that's gathering dust in the attic, that you can have for nothing too if you want.
