yeah.. you read it right... i'm one of THOSE... and i'm available...

basically i've been twiddling my thumbs for too long now and want to get back into playing some decent music again...

based in Galway city.. have my own equiptment for small and large venues (you'ld be supprised on the amount that dont)
no transport though

amp is a Laney DP100 old but still very powerful
bass is a gibson copy (yeah i know, but i kinda like it)
wired or wireless either is good.. dont bother with fx(them things are for bassists that want to prove something)

taught myself everything so i have my own style..
been playing since '92

started off playing with blues bands back in '97
a couple of original bands in '98
2yr music coarse '99 - '01 (qualified as sound eng, and started composing classical style music www.myspace.com/finelinereality )
covers band's '02 - 04'
done a bit of producing as well...

twiddling thumbs ever since ( bit rusty now, fingers have softened up again )

can play nearly everything by the cure and early duran duran, alot of old blues classics, and if i listen to a song 3 times i should be able to play it(mostly)

i'll give most things a go.. but would like to get into something funky/jazzy/bluesy or just something different
