Sorry if this is in wrong place.

I bought something off a guy on Ebay three weeks ago, while talking to him he said P&P would take 2-3 days and would cost double of what I paid for the item's 150Sterling, he got around to sending the item's last Tuesday  well so he say's.

Do they ring you before they come out to your house or what's the story with them? Or could I email them to find out a date when it's coming.

    Thanks

It depends on whether a courier is going to handle (Parcelforce have an agent in Ireland, not sure which company it is) your item or not, if its big and bulky then it'll be probably a courier (in that case the seller should have given you a tracking number). An Post will deliver it with your regular mail otherwise, that would be my understanding of it anyway.

    Hello,

I'm guessing that for 150 quid it's a dishwasher/ fridge? If it is, it's a sad state of affairs when it's cheaper including the shipping than the prices over here. Anybody ever remember Mary Harney's suggestion to shop around?

Anyway my expierence with parcelforce is that sometimes it takes a couple days, sometimes a couple weeks; depending on the rate paid by the seller and how long it takes to fill up the containers on the boat. Sometimes packages delivered by postie, sometimes by courier. Contact seller for a tracking number or log onto http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/home/ and click on customer service for contact info. Remember if items are delivered by courier from abroad on ebay ask seller to put your phone number on box in the future.

    Hope this helps

I bought 4 items all together I think the weigh was 32Kilo's I asked here whats the cheapest way to get it sent all I was told was Parcelforce or another courier then when I emailed parcelforce they said the price was 170Sterling the guy I was buying off said it was 140, 35 for each item.

Yeah he asked for my number, he emailed me today saying the box was sent back because they weren't the right shape or something FFS taking long enough.

    Thanks anyways.
