My Kingdom for a bass player

Hi there,

We're a four piece Indie/Rock band missing the all important Bass player. I'm beginning to see that a good bassist is bloody hard to find but hope springs eternal. The songs are gold, the stage act is gem, the gigs await, we have genuine record company interest and we are all very serious about getting gigging and finding serious success. Interesting, eh? I take your point. Do you mean, flashy graphics, a juggernaut of a website etc etc. Alas, that's not really what we're good at - technophobes the lot of us. That media is very important but we'd prefer to get the music right first.

SO I suppose the interesting things about us is the songs - go listen to Therapy, Nothing Left To Fall Back On.... and tell me they're not interesting.

I have to laugh at certain bands with admittedly very impressive websites but no songs to back it up...

Now i hope i don't sound pissed off because I'm not, I'm glad you asked the question!

We're still interested in hearing from bass players and once the gigs start rolling i can assure you so will the kick ass website etc.

p.s. I actually heard you're band recently on the radio and i liked the tune - nice website too!!!

haha, no i was just bein' mean. :P it's not bad stuff at all but it's not really my thing... i think you'll have to search hard for a bassist because of style! (maybe!)

That's fair enough. But why do you think we'll have a hard job because of style? Our stuff ranges from the poppy to the rocky - that covers a lot of ground, I'd of thought? Again I'm just curious rather than pissed by your observation. Paddy
