I haven't been to Mondello for quite a few years now, the Jordan 199 demo was the last time I think, and was just wondering are you still allowed access to get up and close to the cars and see the crews working on the machines etc. (i.e. like the phoenix park setup a couple of weeks ago)

On most club weekends you can wander around as you please.. for the bigger events, British Touring Cars/Superbikes.. theres generally an additional charge for access to the paddock, but once there you have free reign apart from the garages and pitlane.

The next meeting at Mondello is The Leinster Trophy Meeting on 9/10 September. As well as all the domestic classes, The A1 team Ireland car will launch its new livery and do some demo laps.
Might be a good time for you to re-visit Mondello?

Yea, was thinking of that event as one to go to. The Euro Boss and in particular the ex F1 cars a big attraction. That's why I was asking about paddock access. How close are you likely to get to the F1 cars or will they all be in the pits?

As far as I know there is a pit lane walkabout before lunch so you can get up close to the Boss cars and drivers..............
