I'm crap at organising events, actually you should consider involving some of the UL posse as well.

I'd be up for it if given enough notice.

It should be done across both boards, since they're better at arranging drinks than us.

I would suggest waiting till the UL is back before setting a date.

UL is back the 25th I'd be up for it as I couldn't make it to the last UL beers so still no none of the ULBoards

Hey all!! I did attempt a Limerick Beers show before but I got sidetracked sorry.... on the subject of UL Beers, yeah they have gone well so far. I think merging the two would be a great idea, and Im sure all the UL folk will think so too.... only problem is.... the UL folk dont tend to stray too far from Castletroy, we tried it once and only a handful showed up. It usually ends up being Groody or the Stables, and Im not sure the Stables is the place for a joint beers. Perhaps Groody... would any of you lot be up for that?

I'm sure we can venture into the city.

To meet new folk and all that.

sceptre can put us up sure ;)

If there were enough people from the city interested in going out to Groody we could chip in for a mini-bus out there, or if it were in the city, the UL folks could chip in for it.

Only problem I would see is getting back into the city afterwards.

Church Lane I think it is called. It links Catherine Street and Thomas Street. Opposite Krank's Corner.

Tis like Google maps in here today!!

When are you all thinking of having your beers? We are planning a UL one for the second week of term, anyone who likes is very welcome to attend that, most likely in Groody or the Stables. And then we can plan a joint beers in town for after that if there are takers? :)

Twill be nice to meet new folk as kai says.

I'll be up for it. Castletroy or the city I don't mind. Micky Martins seems tempting though:D
