Hey guys, I think this third fight is redicilous, I dont see the point as Ortiz will simply wipe the floor with this old man. I have respect fot the hall of famer but it seems to me that these kind of fights make a mockery of the UFC. As for Liddel and Sobral what a joke. What was Sobrals gameplan, apparently it was to stand with chuck!!!! This guy is a submission specialist surely this should of been icluded in his gameplan. Ortiz tryed to stand with chuck and he got his ass handed to him, he clearly would of been better to try his ground and pound game. Anyway back to the main point Ortiz vs Shamrock is there really a need!

as far as a competative fight goes - neither this or the second meeting was needed - yet ufc 61 did a 775,000 ppv buy rate - that means it was insanely successful with the casual/newer fan and one can imagine that the third fight, while not competative, will do crazy numbers when the nielsen ratings come out and further push the ufc into the mainstream - on the plus side, the fight noght cards have been getting very good as of late (look at ufn5 & 6)- many would argue, better that the ppvs so im hoping for a solid undercard - the bottom line is that public perception = reality in tv land and the casual fan sees this as a mega-fight and therefore will be in their eyes

For sure, Its a little annoying the way its going but Id agree there is alot of upcoming talent in ufc and potential, I suppose there will always be these kind of fights around. One fight thats sure to be great is hughes and Penn rematch. Penn I think is really up agianst it this time as hughes will not take him as lightly but I still believe the prodigy can do it. That first fight was awesome!

this fight is absoluteley pointless.......the ufc is just trying to make the last scraps of money from this "rivalry"

considering the amount of boo's the last Ortiz/Shamrock fight got, they should have just swept it under the carpet and got on with it.

i think ken has to be the favourite. he is more experienced, has awesome submission skills like when he subbed pat smith in 1993, and i just think he has evolved more than tito.

    *hopes people will recognise irony*

Ken has proved he can take a Tito beating, I think he could pull this one out of the bag, sheer determination will propel him along, he's never going to tap to Ortiz, Tito will either have to bludgeon him again or knock him out. Ortiz failed to impress me against Griffin he looked very lack luster, bring it on Ken!!
