I ripped most of my CD collection to mp3 over the years, much of it was done offline so now I have hundreds of mp3s named Track1, Track2 etc. Is there any CDDB software/service that will scan these pre-existing mp3s and automatically tag them for me?

Mediamonkey has a facility to autotag from amazon.com. Works quite well. Adds album art etc.

if its already ripped then really you will have to do it manually.

I used MP3 Tag to great effect to manually tag my files.

/edit: This MusicBrainz is pretty powerful stuff, melikes!

Mediamonkey's Autotag from Amazon does the job perfectly. Sweet, no need to manually tag these bastard files anymore... Thanks guys

Another vote from MediaMonkey. It can tag files based on their location and file name. (you must have it organised someway) Quicker than using the tag from Amazon if you are doing mass tags.
