I'm looking for a radio transmitter for my 20 gig iRiver H10 and found a sweet one on the iRiver Eurpoe website - http://www.iriver.eu.com/accessoires.html?p_id=740&L=0

It's only €29, but the trouble is not only is it out of stock but delivery costs as much as the transmitter - bringing the price to almost 60 euro.

Has anyone else seen it anywhere. I've looked on amazon, best buy and all the other usual places but haven't seen it anywhere... Found it on eBay alright but selling for a foutune or else in Australia!

I bought a Fm transmitter in powercity coolock for about €8 around three months ago. Its called "Tune-Free". Its white and on the box has works with ipod. thats purely because everyone knows what an ipod is though. It just connects to your mp3, discman, mini-disc, etc. via an earphone jack. Works perfect. Now its not a digital display like the one you were looking at, and it needs its own batteries, but it works just as well. Should keep you going for the time being at least if you still wanted to get the proper iRiver one.

    Hope that helps your search!

Beware. Some of the cheaper FM transmitters made Medium-Wave radio sound like Dolby surround.

If possible, try and get a car-radio with an Aux-in 3.5 female connection on the front. Blaupunkt have some models with this feature.
