    well ive striaghtened the pins, so il test the cpu tonight
    yeh u never know with ebay, probably a big scam or something, awell :D

    hope you used a plastic (non-static generating) tongs to straighten the pins.
    You may wish to clean them with isopropyl alcohol to dislodge any gunge which may have gotten on the pins.

    nah, i used what i always use, a pin, paper-clip and a credit card, there is no gunk in it, cpu looks unused and brand new :eek:

    It had bent pins. What do you expect?
    Did the auction listing specifically state that you could return it? Or that it was working?
