I just recently bought an HP dv6040us laptop and had the internet working through the wireless router hooked up to My main house computer. All of a sudden the internet stopped working on the laptop and a messege came up that said i had limited or no connectivity. i then tried to repair the connection but it gave me a messege that said the Nework did not assign a ntework adress to the computer. the router that i have is a Belkin. i don't really know how to fix this and if it is a setting on my laptop or if it is a setting on the router or if it is the computer the router is hooked up to. please help.

Have you tried restarting the router?
If you have any encryption (WEP/WPA) or MAC filtering enabled, switch them off and see if it works.
