Kick-off is in 3 days for the first college games of 2006. I am a firm supporter in Syracuse, even if they have had a bit of a shady past when it comes to football. They place this Saturday against Wake Forrest.

Does anyone else watch and who would you be rooting for?

Follow Notre Dame, Brady Quinn has come on miles since Charlie Wei's came to town. With a bit of luck we can get to another Bowl game and get something from it. Watched the Rose Bowl last season, gotta hand it to Young making a play on 4th down with 26 seconds to go, a classic game. Although if Leinart had of went pro last season he would have gone first in the draft last year instead he stayed on another year and wasn't happy about going to Arizona as he thought he would have been picked higher.

i`m an honourary Mountaineer! ( I've got a certificate and all from the previous Governor of West Virginia!)

I think that West Virginia have an outside shot at the National Championship, depending of course on how do they away to Pittsburgh and Louisville. I`m ordering NASN this year hoping that they show some WVU games.

    Lets Go Mountaineers!!!!

    The NASN lineup for Saturday:
    - Texas takes on North Texas
    - Louisiana Tech battles a rejuvenated Nebraska
    - UCLA hosts Utah.
    - Western Kentuck at Georgia (taped)

Auburn / Miss St next week. I've a gut feeling Auburn could make a run at the national championship.

Sacramento State Hornets. They're godawful but hey I went to college there for a semester. Plus the QB and RB who were there at the time are having huge careers in the CFL (Ricky Ray and Charles Roberts). Ricky could maybe have made it in the NFL but wasn't content sitting on the bench there, Roberts is tiny but still surprised nobody's given him a tryout, even as a kickoff return guy

If you download the TVU Player (google for the download) you can watch all the Irish home games on NBC. I was watching last night and the quality was excellent and the Irish had a great win over Penn State. Next week is the big one against Michigan;)

Might get rid of NASN anyway. Their game selection this year has sucked donkey %^(($. Last weeks games stunk and anyone could have seen it. There were much more attractive games to show, especially Texas and Ohio. They've done a better job picking games for Saturday but they are on thin ice with me now, especially with 0 NFL coverage.

I don't blame them for not having home ND games but they've no excuse for the away games.

We've got Duke/Va Tech for game #1 (stinker), followed by LSU/Auburn (a good un) and Florida/Tenessee (another good un). No "as live" game on Sunday.

There's no excuses for not having ND @ USC in November... other than them picking something like (out of thin air) liek Washington V Washington State.... they showed that last year (or year before) and it was truly the worst game I have ever seen at any level and in any sport.... even worse than the all Italian Champions League final a few years back.

Watching the Irish against Purdue. Looks like it could be a blowout, already up a TD after first possession.

Texas Tech and Texas A&M was a great game this weekend, fantastic winning score in the last 30secs of the game for Tech. Ohio however look unstoppable, far to strong for their opposition so far.
