Ive just started foling again, after a 2 year break and im contributing to the boards team, But for some reason its taking about 24 hours for my laptop to do one packet ( core duo t2300, 1gb ram ) and taking about 16 hours for my 2.75ghz 3500+. and about 30 hours for my 3ghz pentium4.

But if i remember correctly the last machine i folded on was a 3000+ @ 2.5ghz and that folded in 7 hours max.

Any idea why These more powerfull pcs are taking so much longer ?

Ive set the priority to high, and none of the machines hibernate or power down at all.

The work units vary in size and complexity. Some can take a few hours and some a few days. At least they used to...haven't folded for a while :)

I'm just waiting for them to release the Ati Card folder, my x1800xt is going to put most cpu's to shame.
