    Anybody know where I can find a list of these?
    The girl in Carole Nash said it was on insidebikes.com but I can't find it.
    the Bikes i'm interested in are;

    R6,
    CBR600,
    Aprilia RS250,
    Monster 600.

    I got a quote today for the Aprilia and Monster and they were very similar (I'll post them in the renewal thread later)

    found via google:

    Essentially you are looking at very high insurance groups with the monster being the lowest.

    Someone else asked this question a while back. I couldn't find the info on insidebikes either. I think I posted back to use BBG (Bike Buyer's Guide), the hard copy not the web site. They used to have a BLue pages section which listed all bikes and their respective grouping for CN and AON. But they removed it as they were updating it. Not back yet and cover price has doubled...

    Anyhow using Google to search the insidebikes site, 3 links came back for group +insurance

    Comparison

    KNowing that R6 is super sports, etc. you will find
    R6 = grp 15
    CBR600 = grp 14
    RS250 = grp 12
    Monster 600 = grp 12

    Tell CN there isn't a list. Could make it a wee bit easier for all. I'll drop them a mail tonight too. Simple thing for them to get right.

    I can tell you they are way out of date. The Monster 620ie unrestricted is group 9 with Aon. (they dont do 600cc any more, They have a 695cc which is replaceing the 620)

    Aon and CN do not use the same groups system.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

    I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

    AON have 12 groups.

    By out of date I meant that, no 620 or 695 came up in the search on that site. So I'd not be trusting it. I know they have different groupings.

    OP could try magazines like Which? in local library or Easons <cough>. I was looking for insurance groupings a couple of years ago and got a mag which only had technical specifications and insurance groupings. Think it was Which?. Do Bike or DiRe these as well? haven't wasted my money on them lately...

    ...not worth a damn for good 'ol ROI.........that's UK info, only. And CN don't offer anything like the premia here that they do there. DAMHIK.

    Oh, re BBG, agree on the recent price hike - made me think about buying it, rather than automatically buying it, recently. I'd say that's a retrograde step, imho, trying to max the price in small market, they could end up with a lot of masthead returns from here on in...........

    “And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

    Why do think they're not worth a damn? They didn't redo all the groups for ROI. Same groups, different premiums.
    IIRC no prices in the mags I read. Not much point of that since there's variations between all the companies in UK.
