I dunno. Local authorities won't put signs where they are needed and private companies stick then where they are'nt!

You'd be surprised who would attempt to take down barrier and drive through

A person has the right to use that road if there was an existing road there unless the rights of way were extinguised prior to consturction i.e a cpo

Mike, you seem to be having great fun with that camera lately - first the Ferrybank AA Roadwatch pic, then the Passage Road - ORR tailback, now a very anonymous looking roundabout.

Where is that as a matter of interest?

Simple explanation Mike - the barriers are pulled back a little during working hours to allows work related vehicles through but the sign is there to deter other vehicles from entering. They just don't bother to remove it when closing up after work.

exiting Midleton heading west, crossing over the flyover. Useta be a nasty T junction, with loads of carvans parked there?

It's not going anywhere - it used be a field, now it's the Castlerock housing development. There really isn't a through road.

The caravans are still there - just about 50 yards left out of shot. It looks like the T-junction will be replaced with a roundabout.
