How much does a MSCD exam cost ?

    Does anyone know how much an MSCD exam would cost ? If you had to buy the books and the exams ? Are exams a standard price ?

    I think the exams are ususally about €125 each or something like that. The book prices depend on the publisher and the shop where you're buying them.

    I think i remember someone saying the course was 2500, and the exams 125 each, and there are 7 modules, for the mcse anyway. Maybe if you check the ucd dcu wit cit websites , it might give you more information.

    Most (all?) microsoft exams are €169.40 each, inclusive of VAT. I haven't taken any courses for mine (MCSA/E), just self study/experience.

    Do you mean MCSD ? Certified SOFTWARE developer ?

    If so there are 4 exams, 3 core and one elective, such as VB Desktop, Distributed, Architect and then an elective such as ASP.

    Edit : I believe the new .NET exams are called MCAD and I think they work along the same lines.

    sure I meant SD or AD as they are called now.

    Do they require a lot of effort to pass ?? Can you sit the exams regularly in Dublin?
