Pole crazy

Hi All,
Just wondering about this new craze and if any of ye have taken part in it? My other half has heard about a pole dancing open day on Sept 7th (yes, that’s right, a pole dancing open day!!). Does anyone know what sort of things she can expect at this? I know I have my ideas about what is involved. (cue evil laugh) but I was just wondering if anyone’s ever actually experienced it firsthand? I’m hoping its something she can enjoy and get a good kick out of, but I’d love to hear any experience ye might have. I’m hoping she will learn some new skills as well as having a good laugh.

i would so love to do pole dancing.

i heard a few months ago of soemone setting it up in sublin, i only wish i could remember the name, but the way she had it was that it was like a fitness/social activity.

fairly pricy i thought as well.

i am just waiting for it to come to cork. theres a pole in instinct in cork city and a poll in the night club in kinsale, would love to have a go..

I just keep thinking of that bedpole dance scene in True Lies with Jamie Lee Curtis, and that just makes me smile. (both because she was hot and because she fell on the floor iirc)

To the OP. Yes we are having an open day on Thursday [7th September]. It is International Pole Dancing day, believe it or not. For our part, we are having the free open day for all women to come along, who may be skepticle or curious. We'll also have a live video linkup to the UK who are going for a Pole Dancing Guinness World Record. Should be fun.

To the others, if you are female, come a long. I doubt you will regret it.
