Does anyone know if one of these teams will be switching to an away Jersey before the game, if so which team?

If not, anybody think they should, its gotta be easier for players to pick off the away shirts. Not that its easy to miss Donaghy but after yesterdays game, 'The Game', we are going to need all the help we can get

    It's not that bad:

Anyways, not that it matters much but it should be Kerry's turn to wear the away shirt this time.

No, I mean I don’t know which, my preference would be to have one of the teams change, because I think the shirts are too similar, after that I do not care who changes.

I will be wearing my old Keepers Jersey that day anyway, I know I look like big bird in it, but at least you are showing more of the colour that actually differentiates the teams

Not sure I want to see Mayo having to play in the Red Jersey, but I think we're the most likely to have to select the away Jersey, given we're the last to qualify for the Final.

Not sure what the criteria are for this - anyone know?.

Do Mayo not have a white away jersey anymore? I seem to remember them having one.

Thats possibly an old goalies one your thinking of but it's quite cool so a good few people have it.
Mayo's new jersey is less like the Kerry jersey than the old one used to be.
We played the 04 final in the red one. Does anyone know what each team wore in last years quarterfinal?

Is the white one still available? It was a favourite jersey of mine and I was going to get one. I'm heading into Drumcondra for the final to soak up the atmosphere.

Probably not it was for the old strip. Maybe they have a new white goalies one for the current away strip. I don't know.
My brother has one ya might be able to buy it of him;)

Mayo haven't had the best of luck in their change strip. Were'nt they wearing it when they lost the AI Finals in 1996 and 2004?
I'm not sure what one they wore in 1997.

Kerry were in an away strip when they got that hammering in Meath a few years back (shudder). I know that Kerry do loose something when they ditch the yellow stripe, when they were going for the 5 in a row against Offaly in '82, there was much made of their change of Jersey's to mark the occasion. Then they got beat.

Superstition aside, just for the spectacle, I think one side should change, to make it easier for picking out players at a glance. I think in '97 McDonald kicked the ball straight into Kerry hands a number of times (than again he did it against Dublin the last day too!)

You mean Maurice Fitz hands of course, I don't remember any other Kerry players from that day;)

There will definitely be a change of jersey for at least one team.

I've never seen Mayo play in white, but I've seen them play in red a few times.

I've seen Kerry play in all green a few times, and I think I saw them in dark blue once.

Yeah, Yeah, talk up the one man show wonder of that day, music to my ears, there are no more games won by one man show's, Just cos ye now have yer own Maurice Fitz (all beit with poorer highlights) now.

Story was that Kerry switched to a wider stripe for the last mayo final
