[Old charter] Forum rules. (please read before posting)

If you have a club we'd love to hear about it but if you consistently spam the board about your club you will be banned for a period of time. And please make an effort to get involved in our community first.
Don't pimp your shop/school/etc too much.
If you've found a good resource for buying gear then please tell us about it. That's one of the purposes of this board.
If you're selling some of your own gear then please tell us about that too.
Boards.ie ltd make money from advertising so we will not tolerate blatant commercial advertising by commercial entities on this board.
Keep you temper or the moderators may loose theirs.
Try and stay on topic.


To add:
Personal insults, baiting and flaming will not be tolerated.
If you are selling some gear please don't hijack other peoples For Sale threads to bring attention to your own.

If anyone registers on boards just to discuss the maps regarding secret surfing spots, I will be site banning them.

We've had one or two reports of posts with a commercial nature in this forum recently. Several members have been using the forum to covertly or overtly promote a business - there is a site wide rule against this, and it tends to spoil the forum for others. Future breaches of this rule may result in a warnng or ban without warning.

Buying/selling gear on the forum is ok for now as long as it is not done by a business or trader and it's a once off. We would actually prefer if you advertise on adverts.ie and then link to the ad from here.

If anyone sees a breach of this rule or any other issue please report the post (by clicking the red triangle button to the left of the post) rather than commenting about it in-thread. We appreciate reported posts.
