Graduate Affinity Credit Cards

    Hi all,
I'm looking to get a CC... the previous summer heatwave wrecked my old home pc:( so i'm going to be looking at building my own replacement asap, probably through komplett.

I graduated from UL last year and still have a BOI student current account. Would it improve my chances of getting a CC if i applied for the UL affinity card? I did some work last year and worked a few months this year before taking a break for the Summer and resuming work this August. So the account has seen some income though its been a bit spread out:D.

I know consistent income does help in CC applications and i've got a job to do just that for the incoming months, though wondering if the affinity card could shave off the time i would wait before making a hopefully successful application?

Would a 3v card not work or do you want a more permanent thing?

    Thinking more long term;)

The limited amount of credit and set expiration intervals would make sourcing pc parts online a rather drawn out if not awkard process.
